Sweden’s TTS Ships Equipment AB, Gothenburg, part of the Dry Cargo Division of Norway’s TTS Marine ASA, Bergen, has been awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
Sweden’s TTS Ships Equipment AB, Gothenburg, part of the Dry Cargo Division of Norway’s TTS Marine ASA, Bergen, has been awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
The ISO 9001: 2000 certification refers to Quality Management Systems, and in the case of TTS Ships Equipment, the sectors covered are Sales, Design, Purchasing, Project Management, Installation and Service of ship-related equipment. The certificate was awarded on April 8th this year (2005) and will be effective for three years until April 2008.
TTS Ships Equipment designs and supplies cargo access equipment for ro/ro vessels, ferries, containerships, bulk carriers and general cargo vessels including access ramps (stern and side), internal ramps (fixed and hinged), doors (watertight, pilot, bunker etc), and various types of hatch covers. In many cases the contract covers design, manufacture and installation.
