US shipbuilders and operators will be able to access improved services and faster delivery of spare parts, thanks to TTS Marine Inc. The company, part of the TTS Group, is offering service and rapid response parts ordering to customers across the US via its office, warehouse and fully functioning aftersales station.
Based in Miami, TTS Marine offers service for all products within the TTS product line. The new operation will enable TTS Marine to be more flexible and responsive to the needs of US shipbuilders and operators, including those engaged in newbuilding, conversion and repair work. Spare parts will be available for immediate delivery from a stock held at the Miami-based company’s new warehouse.
On 1 May 2007, TTS further underlined its commitment to customers here with the appointment of Reno Mastrocola as sales manager for the US office. As the point of contact for new sales projects, Mastrocola will be key to developing the presence of TTS in the US through increased new sales activity.
TTS, in working to establish the new level of service and aftersales in the US, now has experienced service engineers based in California, New Orleans and Miami. The engineers have long and extensive experience of servicing TTS equipment in the US.
“Our goal is to become the first and last contact point for customers in the US,” said Torsten Paas, managing director of TTS Marine Inc. As former service engineer and aftersales manager with the TTS Cranes division, Paas has personally substantial experience from dealing with complex service operations, which has given him a solid market reputation. He added, “TTS activity, and thereby also its business network, is expanding quite rapidly, and one of our tasks in US is to ensure that our customers benefit from the enhanced facilities here together with our ability to coordinate the best solutions.”
