On 2nd February 2012, TTS Port and Logistics division signed a contract worth 20 million NOK for delivery of a shiplift to engineering and construction company Samho Ltd, South Korea.
Samho is a non-military organization with overall responsibility for the building of a new border patrol facility - Donghae naval base - the first of three new naval bases in South Korea. The other two bases at Jinhae and Mokpo will also be engaged in the construction tender process during 2012.
The TTS shiplift will handle 70m-long patrol vessels, each weighing of up to 1,500 tons, by utilising Bosch Rexroth drive and control technology.
